It's A Great Life To Live

deepavali

yesterday was a public holiday, happy deepavali to all..
also my sister's birthday, happy birthday adik..

and i had to stay at home since the house doesn't look like a house anymore... (i'm exaggerating this, i know..) well at least my things are all over the place and there's a BIG load of laundry had to be done.. so, i decided to stay at home.. since there's packing need to be done too.. i'll be going back to my hometown on saturday - since raya is on sunday and i am working on friday.. hometown is not that far.. if traffic is good, it will only take about 1.5 hours drive..

i had a visitor yesterday..someone i haven't seen for many moons now... my bestfriend in school, ina..we had a great time yesterday, even though i had to 'kemas' my home and did the laundry at the same time.. went for breakfast (or is it breaking fast? or fast-breaking? ..) together and sent her home.. i had a good laugh yesterday when she told me an array of stories of things we did in school together.. i have a very bad memory.. no, more of a selective memory - as my sister put it.. so, when she told me those stories, no, i think it's more of memories, it all kind of came back to me.. i can still recall what happened, although i didn't remember it in the first place.. gave me that warm and fuzzy feeling.. thank god for all my friends that made my school years bearable - especially to ina laa.. thank you for being such a great friend.. it's great to have friends that still remain the same, even after years of not seeing each other.. and most of all that remember things that i don't remember - so that she can remind me.. haha..
